Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic DSP to provide support and assistance to clients with mental illness in a community-based setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive to help others and create positive relationships with persons served.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living skills, budgeting, and attending medical appointments. Provide support with grocery shopping, meal planning, and medication administration. Foster healthy relationships and friendships with clients, promoting social boundaries and independent living skills.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age. A valid driver's license is preferred, but not required for all positions. A strong desire to help others and create positive relationships with persons served is essential.
Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate, employer-matched 401(k), medical insurance, dental insurance, long-term disability, employee meals, employee incentive program, employee recognition program, and Paid Time Off (PTO). A $500 hiring bonus is available, with additional bonuses for completing medication training and working 50 shifts.
