Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Tyler Family Circle of Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our family medicine patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced nursing care and physician support to family medicine patients of all ages.
  • Work within established protocols and multidisciplinary plans of care, and clinical specific standards under the direction of a Physician.
  • Participate in the development of policy as relates to the care of the patient in the clinic setting.
  • Assist in the development of policy as relates to the care of the patient in the clinic setting.
  • Ability to communicate and interpret age-specific responses and treatments when appropriate.
  • Participate in CPI program. Maintain compliance, is knowledgeable, and utilizes the guidelines of all state and federal laws and regulations as they pertain to the position.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or equivalent in advanced nursing required.
  • At least one year experience as an RN in Acute or Ambulatory Health Care Setting preferred.
  • Working knowledge of clinical equipment i.e. scales, thermometers, dynamap, nebulizers, glucose meters, pressure monitors, basic bedside ultrasound imaging and any other point of care testing equipment.
  • Electronic Medical Record experience. EPIC experience preferred.
  • Current RN license for Texas, and Family Medicine NP license/certification in Texas; Current BCLS Healthcare Card, and prescribing authority/DEA licensure in good standing.
