Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each student, with a focus on enhancing communication skills and academic achievement.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students' educational goals and language development, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting therapy techniques as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Illinois SLP license, with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly advantageous, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
