Position Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our team as a Senior Superintendent within our field operations division. The ideal candidate will possess experience in various aspects of our service offerings, including but not limited to Spall Repair, Brick & Block Masonry Restoration, Liquid & Membrane Waterproofing, Deck Coating, Through Wall Flashing, as well as Caulking and Window Glazing.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support superintendents and their respective projects.
- Coordinate daily, weekly, and project timelines with the superintendents.
- Engage in weekly job site progress discussions.
- Participate in job turnover meetings.
- Facilitate ongoing training and development for superintendents.
- Collaborate on biannual performance reviews of crew members and report findings to the Operations Manager.
- Conduct biannual evaluations of superintendents in coordination with the Operations Manager.
- Perform weekly job site inspections and assessments.
- Attend weekly meetings with the Operations Manager to discuss all aspects of the jobs under supervision.
- Coordinate weekly schedules with the Operations Manager.
- Ensure adherence to job site safety protocols and policies.
Qualifications and Education
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- A two-year college degree in Construction Management/Trades or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification is advantageous.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
- Capability to climb and maintain balance on equipment, ladders, and scaffolding.
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening is mandatory.
- Experience in interpreting blueprints is essential.
- Familiarity with Gantt charts or similar scheduling tools is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related computer skills is necessary.
- Willingness to travel as required.
