We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Tom Thumb. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing meat for sale, operating machinery, and ensuring high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Meat Preparation: Prepare meat in salable sizes and condition for wrapping and eventual display and sale to customers.
- Meat Cutting and Trimming: Cut, trim, chop, grind, and otherwise prepare meats and place on trays.
- Machinery Operation: Operate saws, grinders, and other meat processing machinery.
- Quality Control: Inspect, sort, and grade meat products.
- Display Management: Inspect displayed products for expired dates and remove when necessary.
To be successful as a Meat Cutter at Tom Thumb, you should have:
