About the Role

As an Autism Therapist at South Shore Autism Center LLC, you will be working with children aged 2-13 with autism in various settings. Your primary goal will be to provide direct services and implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) instructional programming to support their growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and a strong understanding of ABA principles. They must be able to communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and supervisors while maintaining a positive and engaged attitude during sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct services to clients in SSAC's early childhood autism center, social skills groups, or in-home settings
  • Implement ABA instructional programming
  • Collect data on client progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with supervising BCBAs to develop and modify behavior plans as needed
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Associates degree; bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience with ABA or working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Three years of experience working with children
  • Two professional references available upon request
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
