About the Role

As a Vent Nurse at The Laurels of Milford, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to our residents who require ventilation support. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each resident receives the highest level of care and attention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the care of residents who require ventilation support
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Provide education and training to residents and their families on ventilation management and care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting
  • ADN or BSN degree
  • Current CPR certification
