About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at one of our assisted living facilities in the Indianapolis Metro area. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to cleaning schedules and infection control procedures.
  • Assist with monitoring equipment condition, including the temperature and chemicals in the dishwasher, and notify management if repairs are needed.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the facility.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient food service operation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a food service or cleaning role preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
