About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg Nursing Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent, strong Med-Surg nursing experience and be proficient in evaluating patients and assisting physicians in delivering optimal patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' needs and collaborate with physicians to develop individualized care plans.
  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on specific patient needs.
  • Conduct assessments to identify priorities and develop care plans that address patient acuity levels and clinical priorities.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and manage patient care according to established standards.
  • Document patient care accurately and advocate for evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Align care with a patient-centric nursing practice model to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent, strong Med-Surg nursing experience.
  • Certifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association, Stroke CEU (4 hours).
  • Licensure: Valid New Jersey State RN license or a multi-state compact license.
  • Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Salary: Estimated $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Location: Manahawkin, NJ 08050

Duration: 3 Months

Shift: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)
