We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team at State Farm. As a key member of our Law Department, you will be responsible for delivering legal services in an objective and unbiased manner, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
Key Responsibilities- Handle cases involving claims with high financial exposure and complexity, including those with complex medical issues, catastrophic injuries, or sensationalized accident facts.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to develop effective strategies for case handling and resolution.
- Prepare and present expert testimony, as well as conduct depositions and trials.
- Collaborate with management and other team members to align on case handling and strategy.
- Develop and mentor junior attorneys and support staff to ensure the success of the team.
- 5+ years of personal injury experience, preferably in insurance defense.
- Jury trial experience and arbitration, deposition, and discovery experience are highly desirable.
- Active law license in Pennsylvania and membership in good standing with the State Bar of Pennsylvania.
- Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills.
