Procedural Physician Assistant - Interventional Radiology

Job Summary:

Weill Cornell Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Procedural Physician Assistant to join our Interventional Radiology team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support our physicians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting, with some inpatient coordination.
  • Perform medical histories, physical exams, ECGs, and other clinical care, documenting all findings appropriately.
  • Perform procedures such as fluoroscopy and CT-guided interventional radiology.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in conjunction with supervising physicians.
  • Prescribe medications under the delegated autonomy of their supervising physician.
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.
  • Respond to patient phone calls, answer questions, and refer questions to physicians as appropriate.
  • Establish and maintain a clinical and research database.
  • Assist physicians with the coordination of clinical trials.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited program.
  • Master's Degree is preferred.
  • A Radiologic Technologist (RT) license is required for this position.
  • Approximately 2 years of work experience in a clinical setting is highly desired.
  • Prior experience with coordinating clinical protocols is desired.
