We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at S&C Electric Company. As an Assembly Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our assembly function.

• Assemble switchgear enclosures, ranging in size from 4'x4'x8' to 6'x6'x12', on the assembly line and directly on the shop floor.
• Identify, transport, install, mount, and bolt all types of components, including bus assemblies, high-voltage switches, mounting and support plates, lock assemblies, doors, and roofs.
• Perform mechanical inspections using torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and tape measures.
• Operate simple machinery, such as automatic riveting machines.
• Lift up to 40 pounds, stand, bend, push, pull, and walk.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical operations.
• Demonstrated ability to use basic shop math and measurement tools, such as tape measures.
• Ability to work from complex blueprints, assembly drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge and ability to use air impact tools and other hand-held tools.

• One year of electrical wiring assembly experience.
• Candidates with electrical or mechanical trade school education may also be considered.
