The typical schedule will include a start time of 7:00 PM and an end time of 7:00 AM.
Facility InformationHospital: Parkridge East
Unit Details:
- Number of Beds: 30
- Patient Ratios: 1:6
- Staffing: Includes 2-3 techs per shift, clinical coordinator, charge nurse, manager, and director.
Equipment Used: Wound vac, heparin gtt, suction, IV pumps, glucometers, bladder scanner, feeding pump, telemetry.
Documentation System: Editech
Scheduling and Floating PoliciesBlock scheduling is not guaranteed. Expect to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations. Floating may occur between 2 North and 2 West units.
Patient Experience ExpectationsMaintain a positive attitude and address the needs of patients and families. Engage in service recovery as necessary and escalate issues through the appropriate channels.
Certification RequirementsMandatory Certifications: BLS required.
Skills and ProceduresEssential Skills: IV starts, NGT placement, wound care, cardiac rhythms.
Advanced Skills: Cardiac rhythm interpretation.
Procedures Performed: Lab draws and IV starts.
Dress CodeUniform: Navy scrubs are required. Fleece or sweatshirts are not permitted.
Awards and RecognitionRecognitions include healing cards from patients, employee points awarded, colleague-to-colleague recognition, Daisy award, and Bee award.

eTeam Inc Job ID # Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
