The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The technologist will be required to scrub/assist the physician during procedures and perform related duties as assigned.

The estimated payment breakdown is as follows: $2046.00/wk, $680.00-$800.00 in weekly taxable income, $17.00/hr-$20.00/hr. The technologist will also receive a non-taxable stipend, the actual amount of which is subject to eligibility and seasonal/annual adjustments.

The technologist will be working in the Interventional Radiology department and will be required to use a variety of equipment, including Phillips Angiographic Suite, Siemens Fluoroscopy, GE CT scanner, and Ultrasound.

Requirements
  • Required Certifications: BLS American Registry of Radiologic Technologist ARRT prerequisites for education and required clinical experience
  • Years of Experience: one year

The technologist must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist's ARRT and have a current American Heart Association BLS Heartsaver Card.

Working Conditions

The technologist will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to walk long distances and stand while wearing lead. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50-100lbs.
