Speech Language Pathologist Position

We are seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Tinley Park, Illinois area. This is an exceptional opportunity to utilize your skills and expertise to improve the lives of individuals through speech and language therapy.

Job Details:
  • Part-time position
  • Mild to moderate caseload
  • On-site preferred
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Illinois state license or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • Previous experience in speech and language therapy, preferably in an educational setting
  • Experience in conducting IEPs in a school setting preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' communication disorders and facilitate functional communication skills
  • Provide therapy services to clients to improve speech production, language comprehension, fluency, and swallowing function
  • Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes for students
