Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class A driver to join our team at CDL Drivers Choice. As a local driver, you will be responsible for hauling turkeys and other cargo in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a manual transmission truck on a daily basis, with a typical week consisting of Sunday through Thursday and off on Friday and Saturday.
  • Operate a day cab and participate in training to obtain a manual restriction removal.
  • Drive on gravel and country roads, with a focus on safe and timely delivery of cargo.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, hours of service, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, with a trailer at least 45 ft long.
  • Ability to live within 50 miles of the terminal.
  • Must be able to have a rider, but no pets are allowed.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate of $21 per hour, with overtime pay available.
