Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Home Health Therapist to join our team in Marietta, GA. As a Home Health Therapist with Visiting Nurse Health System Inc, you will provide direct care and patient education to patients in their homes, while also managing the applicable therapy protocols.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000-$90,000, depending on experience. We offer competitive pay and benefits, including student loan forgiveness opportunities, to ensure our therapists have the resources they need to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and patient education to patients in their homes.
  • Manage the applicable therapy protocols, including physical, occupational, or speech therapy.
  • Consult with and educate other care team members concerning patient assessment and treatment protocols.
RequirementsEducation and Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy/Speech Pathology with a Baccalaureate or Master's Degree.

Licensure and Certifications

Current licensure by the Georgia State Board of the specified therapy and a valid CPR certification.

Knowledge and Training

A professional knowledge of theories, principles, practices, and techniques inherent to the scope of practice. Communication skills to interact effectively with patients, family, care team members, referrals, and community resources.

Computer Skills

Familiarity with general use and functions of the computer, such as user names and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop or laptop, including starting programs, using files, and windows, effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs.
