Neurodiagnostic Technologist

Atlantic Health System is seeking Per-Diem Neurodiagnostic Technologists for the Neurodiagnostics Departments at various locations. We are looking for technologists who can work independently and in a team setting, with flexibility to work across multiple locations and shifts, including days, evenings, and overnights, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and sleep-deprived EEGs, long-term monitoring, including Video EEGs and Ambulatory EEGs, and invasive monitoring with intracranial grids and strips.
• Work with a wide variety of hospital environments and patient types, including neonate through adult populations, Neuro ICU, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU, and Behavioral Health environments.
• Responsible for live and intermittent monitoring of VEEG patients.
• Must be competent in seizure pattern recognition for all patient populations.
• Must be skilled in providing a technologist's impression of studies and relaying pertinent information to partnering physicians.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma/GED Required.
• To provide a safe environment for patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Candidate must have completed a clinical Neurodiagnostic internship.
• Minimum of 1-year clinical experience preferred.
• Must have working experience in a hospital setting.
• Graduate/Certificate from an accredited Neurodiagnostic Program.
• Must have R. EEG T., or be able to sit for the ABRET registration exam.
