Job Overview

Midas Auto Service - JC is seeking a highly skilled Master Automotive Technician to lead our team of technicians and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires strong diagnostic and repair skills, as well as leadership and mentoring abilities.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per yearAbout the Role

The Master Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle systems, including electrical, air conditioning, and computer systems. They will also oversee the work of junior technicians, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems to specifications
  • Lead and mentor junior technicians
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive mechanical diagnosis and repair
  • 8 or more ASE certifications (A1 through A8)
  • Section 609 Certification
  • State Inspection license (if applicable)
