Preschool Educator

The Preschool Educator is responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes the educational and personal development of young learners. This role involves building strong relationships with students, encouraging them to acquire essential skills and knowledge that lay the groundwork for responsible citizenship, tailored to each child's unique abilities.

• Maintain comprehensive records as mandated by educational authorities.
• Ensure a disciplined and orderly classroom environment.
• Prepare lesson plans and provide documented evidence of instructional preparation when requested.
• Utilize diverse teaching methods and resources, adapting to the physical and individual needs of students.
• Implement the educational philosophy and objectives of the institution through effective teaching practices.
• Regularly assess and document student progress.
• Keep accurate records in compliance with legal and institutional policies.
• Support the enforcement of school regulations and policies.
• Be available for educational discussions with students and parents outside of regular instructional hours when necessary.
• Participate actively in faculty and departmental meetings.
• Assist in the selection of educational materials and resources.
• Maintain open communication with students and parents regarding academic and behavioral development.
• Engage in professional development through workshops, seminars, and advanced coursework.
• Adhere to all federal and state educational requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

A Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution; possession of a valid teaching certificate; compliance with federal and state educational standards, or a commitment to meet these standards within the specified timeframe; any additional qualifications as required by the educational board.
