Job Summary

The Indirect Tax Senior Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with indirect tax regulations. This includes managing exemption certificates, overseeing indirect tax filings, and participating in tax audits. The successful candidate will also be involved in process improvement activities to create a sustainable model for timely and accurate compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and maintain exemption certificates provided by customers in the tax platform.
  • Manage and oversee the preparation, review, and reconciliation of indirect tax filings for assigned legal entities.
  • Assist with the implementation of indirect tax strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Participate in managing tax audits related to indirect taxes.
  • Maintain the indirect tax calendar, including renditions, valuations, and tax payments.
  • Conduct tax research, analyze tax implications, and provide recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Business-related concentration preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales and Use Tax compliance.
  • Savvy in Microsoft Excel, highly preferred.
  • Experience with a business tax engine such as Vertex.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
