Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues
  • Replace defective components and perform preventive maintenance
  • Interact with customers and drivers to determine the nature of complaints and provide solutions
  • Utilize shop management systems and electronic documentation to track work and maintain records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification in diesel mechanics or a related field preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of diesel engines and related systems
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
