Job Summary

We're seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Giant Eagle. As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process orders in person and by phone, directing patients to products and merchandise as needed.
  • Refer appropriate questions concerning prescriptions and over-the-counter medicine to the pharmacist.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels by ordering, receiving, stocking and rotating drugs and other supplies per company policy and procedure.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
