Job Summary

LinQuest Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our space systems engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the development and integration of complex space systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to support the development of technical baselines
  • Analyze system requirements and verify technical baselines
  • Work with government and contractor personnel to close gaps in the flow of customer requirements
  • Lead and support government/contractor working group meetings
  • Review proposed changes to technical baselines for impacts to capabilities and cross-stakeholder integration concerns
  • Facilitate review of program documents
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to assess technical issues
  • Support management of risks, issues, interdependencies, and schedule disconnects

Requirements:

  • BS in engineering with specialization in communications systems
  • 10+ years' demonstrated experience with space or aeronautical systems engineering and integration programs and projects
  • 10+ years' working in a collaborative team environment developing technical baselines and systems specifications
  • Proficient in using Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients
  • US Citizenship and Required DoD Top Secret clearance

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced degree in engineering
  • Systems engineering certifications
  • Experience in technologies of electro-optics, radar, infrared, magnetic, nuclear, and small form factor sensors
  • Experience with ground and airborne systems
