Veterinary Technology Externship Opportunity

At Animal Clinic East, we offer a unique opportunity for veterinary technology students to gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting. Our externship program provides a comprehensive learning experience, allowing students to develop their skills and confidence in a supportive environment.
Key Highlights:
- Gain experience in various essential procedures, including history notation, client communications, physical examinations, surgical procedures, diagnostic imaging, dental cleaning, and laboratory procedures.
- Work closely with seasoned veterinarians and technicians to develop your skills and knowledge.
- Enjoy exclusive perks as an externship student, including a UVC BRIDGE externship start pack and access to UVC Learning & Development veterinary technician modules, lectures, and courses.
Requirements & Eligibility:
Students must enroll in their second year or the equivalent of an accredited veterinary technician program and commit to 200 externship hours at maximum. Candidates must submit a resume, have strong communication skills, be able to work well with staff, and be at least 18 years of age upon acceptance into the externship.
