About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Addiction Therapist to provide comprehensive care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. As a Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions. Your expertise will also include crisis intervention, case management, and community resource referrals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' strengths, challenges, and goals.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address clients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions to promote healthy coping mechanisms and recovery skills.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology).
- A minimum of one year of experience working in addiction treatment or behavioral health services.
- A CACII certification or willingness to obtain one within six months.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems.
