Audiology Career OpportunitySSM Health is seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for performing audiological and vestibular function testing, developing hearing correction plans of care for patients with audiological impairments, and providing hearing device modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic testing to assess patient's hearing and vestibular status and to determine appropriate treatment.
Develops, documents, implements and evaluates hearing correction plan.
Provides hearing device modifications.
Educates and counsels patients, caregivers and family members on treatment options and continuing care.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Audiology
No experience required
Work Environment:
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
Professional Certifications:
Audiologist, Licensed - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Audiologist - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
Audiologist - Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
Audiologist - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
