Role Summary:
- As a Science Program Facilitator, you will guide students through engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that include instructor-led demonstrations and interactive activities. You will showcase how science influences everyday life, including building and launching rockets, demonstrating laser technology, exploring states of matter with dry ice, and assisting children in creating slime. Your role will be pivotal in igniting a passion for science in young minds through our unique and innovative programs.
Compensation and Perks:
- Earn $18 per hour, typically for 2 hours per class, with the potential for up to 4 classes weekly.
- Mileage reimbursement available.
- Experience the joy of teaching children about the wonders of science.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver after-school STEM enrichment programs utilizing our established lesson plans and resources.
- Supervise a class of 15-20 elementary school students.

Candidate Qualifications:
- Experience working with groups of children aged 5-11 is essential.
- A minimum of one year of college education (applicants must be 19 years or older).
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A friendly and engaging personality.
- Availability for at least three afternoons per week from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, including Friday afternoons for equipment exchange.
- Willingness to commence training in early September, with classes starting in late September or early October.
