Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES MFG LP. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in facilities management, maintenance, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of facility technicians responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of various facilities, including water treatment plants, electrical infrastructure, gas delivery systems, and manufacturing areas.
    • Develop and implement effective team management strategies to ensure high productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintenance and Operations
    • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance and operations plans to ensure the reliability and efficiency of facilities and equipment.
    • Manage and direct the facilities functions on site with minimum cost and high reliability.
    • Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for facilities maintenance.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Participate in the development of goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for facilities management.
    • Make recommendations for changes and improvements to facilities management processes and procedures.
  • Training and Development
    • Develop and implement training plans to enhance the skills and knowledge of facilities team members.
  • Performance Management
    • Responsible for performance management, coaching, and preparing corrective action for employees.
    • Liaise with HR and other support functions as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or operations.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities management principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
