Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and cater to guests' needs, provide menus, communicate restaurant specials, respond to menu inquiries, and take food and beverage orders
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, following all relevant alcohol service policies and procedures
  • Accurately input orders into the point-of-sale system and handle payments, as well as prepare and present checks to guests
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow servers, kitchen staff, and bar personnel
  • Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work tasks as assigned, ensuring all equipment and work areas are clean, sanitized, organized, and operational
Qualifications
  • Experience with cash handling and credit card transactions
  • Preferred: one year of experience as a server in a high-volume setting and familiarity with point-of-sale systems in a service or hospitality context
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, along with standing, walking, and bending for extended periods, which may include climbing stairs
  • Visual and auditory skills sufficient to take orders and prepare checks
