Job Summary

2nd Street - St Mary's Medical Center - Duluth is seeking a skilled Traveling Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines and other diagnostic tools.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate and detailed results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise.
