Job Summary

This is an essential role within Sherwin-Williams' distribution network, responsible for safely loading and unloading trucks, accurately picking paint and paint-related product orders, and shipping product orders to customers. The successful candidate will move materials within the facility and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling, or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process, package, and ship orders accurately
  • Organize stocks and maintain inventory
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Operate robots to facilitate effective warehouse operations
  • Abide by all company safety and quality expectations
  • Contribute ideas to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
Requirements
  • At least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility
  • At least one (1) year of work experience operating mobile power equipment such as lift trucks, tow motors, or pallet handling equipment, order pickers, high lifts, forklifts, or cherry pickers
  • At least one (1) year of work experience operating stationary power equipment such as palletizers, conveyors, hoists, and stackers, mills, or farm/construction equipment
  • At least one (1) year of experience order picking and entering orders, including data entry and scanning bar codes
  • At least one (1) year of experience working as a picker or packer in a warehouse or distribution center environment
