Job Summary

Chase Staffing, a leading US-based staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Medical Biller to join their team in Greenville, SC. As a Medical Biller, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely billing to maximize revenue collection.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing and coding principles, including CPT and ICD10 coding. You will be responsible for submitting claims to clearinghouses, fixing rejections, and working with the medical billing manager to provide billing reports to senior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit claims to clearinghouses and fix rejections as needed
  • Work with the medical billing manager to provide billing reports to senior staff
  • Maintain issue trackers between programs and finance to ensure timely corrections
  • Scan completed data into financial drives by program with copy of claim status reports
  • Serve as a liaison to the agency's third-party billing company
  • Retrieve monthly files from FCA programs and send to agency consultants
  • Post to A/R and work on denials for resubmission

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of medical billing and coding principles, including CPT and ICD10 coding
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
