Compensation Details
Hourly Rate: $250 to $350
Position Details
- Specialty: Psychiatry - Forensic

Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in a forensic environment is preferred.
- Manage a caseload of 19-24 forensic patients.
- Conduct routine patient admissions and discharges.
- Provide psychiatric interventions during patient crises.
- Maintain professional documentation in an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Conduct evaluations for Court Ordered Psychiatric Medications (COPM) and provide court testimony as needed.
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted NY state medical license.
- Board Certification in Psychiatry.
- Current DEA and BLS certifications.
- Enrollment in NYS Medicaid.
Work Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Compensation Package:
- Competitive market rate based on various factors including availability, experience, and certifications.
- Malpractice insurance coverage provided.
