Position Details

Department: Food and Nutrition Services

Reports To: Dietitian/Director of Food Services

Job Classification: Department Staff

Role Purpose

The Cook is responsible for preparing meals in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain high sanitation, quality, and presentation standards.
  • Exhibit a clean, friendly, and detail-oriented approach while ensuring the highest food quality.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a strong work ethic with consistent attendance.
Compensation

Salary: $22.60 per hour, dependent on experience.

Work Schedule

Shifts are available from Saturday to Wednesday, with hours including 5:30 am - 2:00 pm, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, or 10:30 am - 7:00 pm.
