Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin.

As a Respiratory Therapist with Supplemental Health Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a Long Term Acute Care facility. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the overall day-to-day operations of Respiratory Therapist services at the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Active Respiratory Therapist Licensure/Certification in Wisconsin
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • At least 1-year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Prior experience in an LTAC is preferred
