Ochsner Health is a leading healthcare system seeking a skilled Urologist to join its team at Ochsner Medical Center-Kenner. This community hospital is located 10 miles west of New Orleans, LA, and offers a unique opportunity for newly trained or experienced physicians to apply. The salary offered will be commensurate with experience and training.
Position Highlights:
- Practice in both surgical and office-based settings with one Urologist and APP.
- Shared ED call with a collaborative team.
- Join Ochsner's academic faculty and engage in resident education with resident rotators on site.
- State-of-the-art equipment, including Moses 2.0 high-powered holmium laser, ReZum, and HoLEP capabilities.
- ESWL capabilities and two Office Procedural suites.
- Two DaVinci robots: DaVinci XI and DaVinci X.
- Large referral base with support from specialists and ancillary services.
Ochsner's Department of Urology is committed to providing comprehensive urologic care, emphasizing the needs of individual patients in a compassionate setting. Our 44 physicians offer state-of-the-art medical and surgical care at various clinics across the region, providing a complete spectrum of general and subspecialty urologic care.
The department utilizes advanced technologies, including robotic-assisted surgery, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, and laser therapies. Comprehensive and specialized urologic medical and surgical care is provided in areas such as adult and general urology, pediatric urology, female pelvic medicine, and urological oncology.
