Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather Customer Requirements: Collect and analyze customer technical and functional requirements for the development of software and analytic products.
  • Define Specifications: Develop detailed specifications and functional requirements for complex software systems.
  • Assess Design Options: Identify and assess design options to meet functional requirements and deliver technical efficiencies.
  • Lead System Development: Lead the development of system-level designs including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation for system software and analytic products.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure system compliance and compatibility with DoD standards and architecture.
  • Provide Technical Support: Provide technical analysis, operation, integration, and user support services for system software.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the evaluation and selection of COTS/GOTS software and development tools.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and ten (10) years of relevant IT experience. An active Secret level security clearance and a DoD 8570 IAT Level II approved certification are also required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing ability, are necessary for this role. Experience with Real Time Data Streaming Tools, Data Warehouse tools, JIRA and GIT development environments, containerization and micro-services technologies, and AGILE and ITIL methodologies are highly desirable.
