We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of prescription dispensing, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
