About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Coffee Specialist to join our team at PBS Creative. As a Coffee Specialist, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, preparing high-quality coffee and espresso drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, take orders, and accept payments in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Coffee Preparation: Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and beer/wine to a high standard, using a variety of brewing methods and techniques.
- Workspace Maintenance: Clean and restock work and dining areas, empty trash, and sanitize equipment and utensils to maintain a professional and safe environment.
- Knowledge and Skills: Continuously expand your knowledge of the specialty coffee industry, including quality control, preparation, and presentation techniques.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with a high-energy team to provide excellent customer service and maintain a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service is preferred.
- Training and Development: Willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation, and a commitment to ongoing training and development.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional listening and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Physical Demands: Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Personality and Attitude: A polite, engaging personality, with a commitment to customer satisfaction and a killer customer service experience.
