The Registered Dietitian performs professional clinical nutrition patient care functions for patients on assigned units. They maintain effective communication within the department and with other healthcare team members to provide quality nutritional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement nutrition care plans and plans therapeutic diets in accordance with physicians' diagnoses and requirements of regulatory agencies.
  • Provide nutrition education for the department, facility, and community.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field.
  • Registered Dietitian Certification (CDR) required.
  • License as a Registered Dietitian in Indiana (LD) required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of expertise in nutrition principles, theories, and processes.
