Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified licensed therapist to join our team as a Community Based Mental Health Therapist. The successful candidate will establish therapeutic relationships with clients, provide behavioral health and addiction counseling, and consult with other professionals as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a therapeutic relationship with each client
  • Provide individual, group, or family therapy as needed
  • Available for clinical consultation
  • Maintain ongoing frequent contact with other assigned OhioGuidestone professionals, parents, or outside agency professionals assigned to case
  • Provide CPST and minor case management functions if needed
  • Assume a strong advocacy role for clients and make recommendations for clinical and support services needed upon discharge
  • Actively participate in all treatment conferences and meetings for the clients
  • Complete all paperwork required by the agency within designated time frames
  • Assume a leadership role in the interpretation and support of agency policies
  • Participate in agency and community meetings as needed
  • Attend conferences and workshops to maintain professional competence
  • Provide in-service training as requested
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Exhibit positivity, flexibility, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in social work with an Ohio LSW preferred
  • Valid Ohio driver's license and safe driving record required
