Job Overview

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join its Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program in Hickory. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to clients and ensure compliance with doctor-prescribed treatments and protocols.
  • Maintain meticulous records and notes, documenting client interactions, treatments, and progress.
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments with new clients, gathering essential information for personalized care.
  • Obtain vital signs from clients and assist with physical examinations as needed or as ordered by the doctor.

Requirements:

  • Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as an LPN or holds a license with multi-state practice privileges by authority of the Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Prior experience with SUD/MH population preferred but not required.
