Key Responsibilities:
1. **Maintenance Oversight:** Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems to ensure operational efficiency.
2. **Troubleshooting:** Diagnose and resolve issues related to materials handling equipment and automated systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
3. **System Upgrades:** Manage modifications and upgrades to equipment controls, enhancing system capabilities.
4. **Inventory Management:** Oversee the inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability for timely repairs.
5. **Performance Assessment:** Evaluate the efficiency of equipment and systems, recommending necessary enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Technical vocational training or equivalent experience in a related field.
- A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience, with a strong preference for candidates with an electrical background.
- Proficient in understanding mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret CAD layouts, illustrated parts breakdowns, and electrical circuitry diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer systems and software.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday with varying shifts to accommodate operational needs.
