Copper Fabrication Specialist

As a key member of the Avail Infrastructure Solutions production team, you will play a vital role in operating and maintaining copper punch and bend machines. This hands-on position involves measuring, cutting, bending, and punching copper to precise specifications.

As a Copper Fabrication Specialist - 2nd Shift, you will be responsible for operating copper punch and bend machines, adjusting settings for accuracy. You will also measure, cut, bend, and punch copper according to specifications. Additionally, you will perform routine maintenance to keep machines in top working condition and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. Training and guiding helpers when needed to complete tasks efficiently are also part of your responsibilities. Maintaining a clean and organized work area to support safety and productivity is essential in this role.

• Experience in copper fabrication or similar manufacturing roles required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and convert fractions to decimals.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new programs.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently while staying motivated to stay on task and work efficiently.
• Forklift and crane certification eligibility.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
