Overview: LADGOV CORPORATION is in search of a skilled Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) Specialist to perform a Phase I ESA in compliance with ASTM Standard E. This role involves assessing a designated parcel of land, requiring extensive environmental evaluation expertise to meet Federal, State, and local regulations.
Position Title: Geologist
Location: Milan, Tennessee
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in conducting Phase I and II ESAs.
  • Professional certification (e.g., Registered Environmental Manager, Certified Environmental Professional) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with USDA or similar federal agencies is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments in accordance with ASTM Standard E, 40 CFR 312, and 33 CFR 137.
  • Analyze a comprehensive range of environmental concerns and liabilities, including those under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, as well as petroleum products.
  • Examine pertinent records, perform site reconnaissance, and engage with key personnel.
