We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Optometrist Assistant to join our team at the Eye Care Clinic Hampton in St. Louis, MO.
About the RoleAs an Optometrist Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting optometrists with patient care, conducting eye exams, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Conduct eye exams and collect patient data under the supervision of licensed optometrists.
- Assist with patient consultations and provide guidance on eye care and eyewear selection.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and treatment plans.
- Support store manager with tasks such as inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in an optical setting, preferably as an optician's assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and management.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
