We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for implementing patient care plans, assessing patients physically and mentally, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans. You will also communicate with patients and their families, administer medication, and participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest best practices.
Responsibilities:- Implement patient care plans and assess patients physically and mentally
- Collaborate with Psychiatrist, Therapist, Dietitians, and other members of the healthcare team to develop effective treatment plans
- Communicate with patients and their families to ensure their needs are met
- Administer medication and participate in ongoing education and training
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
- Registered nurse licensed by State Board of Nursing in the state of employment
- American Health Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification or is required within thirty (30) days of date-of-hire
- Formal training in management of the aggressive patient is required within sixty (60) days of date-of-hire
- Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents, and adults is preferred
