Evaluation Process:
  1. Verification of Federal Work Study Funds: Upon verification, the supervisor will review applications and schedule interviews for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

The FabLab monitors will provide assistance to students enrolled in Visual Arts & Technology courses. Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating the use of FabLab facilities.
  • Managing equipment checkouts.
  • Overseeing and maintaining the operational integrity of the VA&T facilities.

Candidate Requirements:

Applicants must be Undergraduates who have been awarded Federal Work Study as indicated on their Financial Aid Award Letter and are currently enrolled with a minimum of 6 credits.


Qualifications:

Student Workers should have completed or be currently enrolled in at least one 200-level Visual Arts studio course. Familiarity with large-format printing, file formatting, and a willingness to learn about 2D and 3D fabrication tools is preferred.

Successful candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm for assisting peers in mastering art and design tools, troubleshooting issues, and devising innovative solutions.
