Epic Travel Staffing is recruiting for a Travel - Interventional Radiology

Shift : Daytime / 7a-3p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week

Length : 13 weeks

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 Year Experience
  • Proficiency with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment
  • Prior Traveler Experience
  • Skills: Neuro Experience. Inpatient hospital experience, PACS, contrast required. Proficient in all IR procedures including: stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, biopsies, drainages, and various vascular studies.
  • BLS Certification
  • ARRT Certification
  • PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS: ARRT Advanced Certification preferred. Familiarity with EPIC and McKesson systems preferred. Experience in outpatient, OR, ER, Level I trauma, teaching hospitals, and community hospitals.
REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year. Traveler Experience required: YES, first-time travelers are not accepted. Locals Accepted. Skills: Neuro Experience. Inpatient hospital experience, PACS, contrast required. All IR procedures including: stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, biopsies, drainages, and various vascular studies. Proficiency with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment is required. Certifications: BLS and ARRT
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS: ARRT Advanced Certification preferred. Familiarity with EPIC and McKesson preferred. Experience in outpatient, OR, ER, Level I trauma, teaching hospitals, and community hospitals.
JOB DETAILS: Shift: First shift, staggered start time between 0700 and 0830 for 8 hours/day, Monday to Friday. Call Requirement: Weekends and evenings/nights on call rotation. On Call As Needed: Yes, primary and backup call rotation. Float Requirement: None. Weekend Requirement: Weekends and evenings/nights on call rotation.
PATIENT DEMOGRAPHICS: Patient Age Group: Primarily Adults and Geriatrics, with some Adolescents. Required skill in both Neuro (including stroke intervention) and Body procedures. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Daily Case Load: 13-17. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Siemens and Phillips required. Acuson preferred. Hospital Orientation in the first week; traveler must be available for classes each day.
SCRUBS: Provided.
